Xiamen, China
Angel and I took a 2 night trip to Xiamen, China which is about an hour flight from Hong Kong in southern China. It is known for Gulangyu Island, being clean for a Chinese city, and is really close to Taiwan. Near our hotel was a pretty lake and some very good, small, independent restaurants. I think the city looks much better at night than during the day.
We were going to take a ferry to Kinmen, Taiwan but Angel forgot her passport.
