Shanghai and Hangzhou
Shanghai and day trip to Hangzhou, Jan 6-8. We stayed at the Shanghai City Central International Hostel which is very very nice for a hostel, $30/night for a double bed, lofted room. We visited Yuyuan Garden, Hangzhou, and downtown Shanghai. We didn’t see as much as we were pretty tried from sightseeing in Beijing. Angel made an observation that Shanghai is emulating some aspects of Hong Kong (but dirtier), which I noticed too when I got to Hong Kong.
